Austin isn't just where I live — it's why I became a photographer. The light here is extraordinary: warm and golden for nearly ten months of the year, with the kind of dramatic sunsets that make couples stop mid-session just to look. From the sculptured grounds of Laguna Gloria to the turquoise waters of Hamilton Pool, this city offers locations that rival any wedding destination in the world.
My favorite outdoor spots for sessions include Mount Bonnell for its sweeping Lake Austin views, Lady Bird Lake for golden hour walks along the boardwalk, and Zilker Park for families who want space to play and explore. For couples drawn to the eclectic energy of the city, East Austin and South Congress offer murals, moody alleyways, and rooftop views that feel both urban and intimate.
If you're planning a wedding or elopement, Austin's surrounding Hill Country is a destination unto itself. Dripping Springs and Fredericksburg are home to some of the most stunning micro-wedding venues in Texas — think limestone chapels, vineyard terraces, and fields of wildflowers in spring. For intimate ceremonies, the Travis County Courthouse offers a beautifully simple option, and I've photographed elopements there that were every bit as emotional as a 200-person wedding.
Golden hour in Austin shifts with the seasons: in June it starts around 7:45 PM and lasts until well past 8:30 PM, giving us nearly an hour of that perfect warm glow. In December, it begins closer to 4:45 PM — shorter, but the low angle of winter light creates a richness and depth that's incredibly beautiful for portraits. I schedule every session to take advantage of this light, no matter the time of year.

Wedding collections range from $3,800 to $7,500 depending on hours of coverage, whether an engagement session is included, and album options. Elopement packages start at $2,200 for 3 hours of intimate coverage. Every collection includes an online gallery, print release, and professional editing.
For weddings, I recommend reaching out 8–12 months in advance, especially for peak season dates (October–December in Austin). Portrait and family sessions can usually be booked 2–4 weeks ahead. I take a limited number of weddings per year to give every couple my full attention.
Every package includes a full online gallery with high-resolution downloads, a print release so you can print wherever you like, professional color and light editing on every image, and travel within 30 miles of Austin. No hidden fees, no surprise charges.
Yes! Travel within 30 miles of Austin is complimentary with every package. For destinations beyond that — Hill Country, Dripping Springs, Fredericksburg, or anywhere in the world — I charge a flat travel fee based on distance. I’ve shot weddings across Texas and as far as Tulum, Big Sur, and the Amalfi Coast.
For weddings, you can expect 50–75 images per hour of coverage — so a Signature collection (8 hours) typically delivers 400–600 edited images. Portrait sessions deliver 25–40 edited images depending on the session length. Every image is individually edited; I never batch-process.
Weddings are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Portrait and family sessions are delivered within 2–3 weeks. You’ll receive a sneak peek of 15–20 images within 48 hours of your session so you have something to share right away.
A second photographer is included in the Signature ($5,200) and Luxe ($7,500) wedding collections. For other packages, a second photographer can be added for $600. Second shooters are especially valuable for larger weddings, multiple getting-ready locations, or when you want both ceremony and candid coverage simultaneously.
A 30% retainer and signed contract secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding or session. I accept bank transfer, credit card, and check. Payment plans are available for wedding collections — just ask.
