The Crestview Approach

We believe the way a child experiences the dentist shapes their relationship with dental care for life. That's why we take our time, use age-appropriate language, and never rush or force treatment.

Tell-Show-Do

We explain what we're going to do in kid-friendly terms, show them the tools, then gently proceed. No surprises, no fear.

Fun Environment

Our treatment rooms have ceiling-mounted TVs, fun sunglasses, and a prize wall. Kids actually look forward to coming back.

Parent Partnership

We keep parents involved and informed. You're always welcome in the treatment room, and we'll teach you how to support healthy habits at home.

A gentle introduction to the dentist for children 12 months and older. We check development and get them comfortable.

A thin protective coating applied to molars to prevent cavities in the deep grooves where food gets trapped.

Fluoride Treatments

Professional-strength fluoride to strengthen enamel and protect growing teeth from decay.

Gentle Cleanings

Age-appropriate cleanings with extra patience and a gentle touch, plus oral hygiene coaching for kids.

Cavity Treatment

Tooth-colored fillings placed with gentle technique. We use distraction, comfort measures, and nitrous oxide when needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit by age 1 or within 6 months of the first tooth appearing. These early visits are brief and gentle, focused on checking development and getting your child comfortable.

We use the tell-show-do technique, move at the child's pace, and never force treatment. For very anxious children, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help them relax. Our team is specifically trained in pediatric behavior management.

Sealants reduce cavity risk in molars by up to 80%. We recommend them for most children once their permanent molars come in, typically around ages 6 and 12. They're quick, painless, and one of the most effective preventive treatments available.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an evaluation by age 7. This doesn't mean braces at 7, but early screening lets us identify issues that benefit from early intervention, potentially simplifying treatment later.

We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for children who need help relaxing. It's safe, wears off quickly, and helps make the visit comfortable. For more extensive needs, we can discuss additional options during your consultation.
