About Sparkle Home Cleaning

Our Story

Maria Gonzalez started Sparkle Home Cleaning in 2017 with a bucket of eco-friendly supplies and a belief that Denver families deserved better. She was cleaning homes herself to pay for nursing school when she realized something: the affordable cleaners were unreliable, and the reliable ones were unaffordable. There was no middle ground.

So she built one. Sparkle started as Maria and two friends cleaning six homes a week. Word spread — not through ads, but through neighbors telling neighbors that there was finally a cleaning service that showed up when they said they would, cleaned the way they promised, and charged a fair price for it.

By 2019, Sparkle had grown to ten cleaners serving the greater Denver metro area. Maria made a decision early on that defined the company: every cleaner would be background-checked, trained on a 50-point checklist, and paid a living wage. No shortcuts, no cutting corners on the people or the products.

Today, Sparkle employs a team of 25 professional cleaners serving hundreds of Denver homes every week. Maria never did finish nursing school — she found a different way to take care of people. “We treat your home like our own” isn’t a tagline. It’s the hiring standard, the training standard, and the reason clients stay with us for years.
